The Beginning

Spout Water initially came to us with a problem - people were coming to their site, but they were not converting into customers. The product was new & innovative, but communicating its value proved to be difficult. That's when we stepped in and completely revamped the website.

Our Strategy

Our CRO strategy is two-fold. One: bringing the website's converting elements to the top of the fold, allowing people to convert without having to scroll. And two: communicating how Spout Water solves the target customer's exact problem.

The original homepage of the website failed to attract users or convey why the product was revolutionary, resulting in significant content gaps and unused white space. Additionally, the inclusion of two visually distinct CTAs above the fold, despite having the same action and copy, proved to be distracting and unclear for users.

During the pre-order phase at the time of launch, establishing credibility and generating interest were paramount. To achieve this, we prioritized showcasing the product design and placing key selling points and press mentions above the fold. Additionally, we opted for more visually enticing elements, such as a single, bold CTA color and lifestyle images, rather than using stock photos.

System that works

One of the continued takeaways we've seen from our CRO service is that focusing on customer psychology, communicating value, and creating the easiest opportunity to purchase at first glance boosts the conversion rate significantly. When those methods are coupled with a rigorous and intentional A/B testing schedule, we see conversion rate and average revenue per user increase time and time again.
